LONELY SHADES
Lonely Shades explores the paradox of modern technology—a world designed to connect us, yet often leaving us in isolation. This exhibition highlights the deep loneliness brought on by the constant use of phones, social media, and video games, and the despair that many experience in the digital age.
In response to this theme, I created two hand-painted canvases as a true expression of authenticity. Painted in a state of deep connection and trance, these works reflect my belief that the key to overcoming loneliness lies within ourselves. By knowing who we truly are, we can better understand the emotional landscapes shaped by technology and find connection in a world that often feels disconnected.
I believe that if each of us took the time to truly know ourselves, we would not fear others or isolate ourselves. The human race is not meant to be alone; disconnection is dangerous. Through these pieces, I invite viewers to reconnect with what is around them—nature, people, emotions, beauty, and play—and to embrace the fullness of life beyond the digital screen.
